ART FARM FUN

Looking for something off the beaten path for your family activity during the week of fall harvest break? Looking for a low-key event geared towards a small group? Get out in nature, meet some cute animals, and get creative, no art experience required.

Visit Camp Wonder Wander Creativity Retreat Center for an art farm fun activity with a maximum of 12 kids and their adults.

$6 per person must reserve spot.

Each of the sessions features a different art activity. P.S. if you have teenagers interested in art and design and looking for extra opportunity outside of school, you'll want to talk to Val about her workshops (she's a former graphic design professor).

WED OCT 10 MORNING 10am-1pm

- Meet the chickens, see their house, and collect morning eggs

- Meet the baby donkey DUCKIE, his mom and friends - donkeys and cats

- Go on a guided hike/walk, we'll see the bamboo grove, the garden preparations for fall planting, and a walk thru the woods

- Story and art exercise in the magical landscape

- short walk back to the start. DRAWING ACTIVITY - all skill levels

- optional bring bag lunch and enjoy your snack on the walk or stick around for a picnic

WED OCT 10 AFTERNOON 3pm-6pm

- Meet the baby donkey DUCKIE, his mom and friends - donkeys, chickens, cats

- Go on a guided hike/walk, we'll see the bamboo grove, the garden preparations for fall planting, and a walk thru the woods

- Story and art exercise in the magical landscape

- short walk back to the start. PAINT A MINI BIRD HOUSE - all skill levels

- help feed the donkeys dinner and get the chickens read for bed.

- optional bring bag meal to enjoy the sunset evening hour.

THU OCT 11 MORNING 10am-1pm

- Meet the baby donkey DUCKIE, his mom and friends - donkeys and cats

- Go on a guided hike/walk, we'll see the bamboo grove, the garden preparations for fall planting, and a walk thru the woods - collect fall leaves for art project

- Story and art exercise in the magical landscape

- short walk back to the start. LEAF ART - all skill levels

- optional bring bag lunch and enjoy your snack on the walk or stick around for a picnic

THU OCT 11 AFTERNOON 3pm-6pm

- Meet the baby donkey DUCKIE, his mom and friends - donkeys, chickens, cats

- Go on a guided hike/walk, we'll see the bamboo grove, the garden preparations for fall planting, and a walk thru the woods

- collect fall leaves and other objects for art project

- Story and art exercise in the magical landscape

- short walk back to the start. CYANOTYPE - all skill levels - use your found materials to create old fashioned style of photograph that uses the sun (*weather permitting)

- help feed the donkeys dinner and get the chickens read for bed.

- optional bring bag meal to enjoy the sunset evening hour.

You are welcome to stay for both sessions but to cover costs of art materials please register for each.
