Application Fee = $25

Residency Fee is based on your length of stay, is non-refundable, and will be paid after you have reviewed your contract and signed to reserve your room. The lodging fee payment policy and cancellation window is outlined on the contract.

By submitting my application I acknowledge:

• I have read what the Residency Fee covers including once-a-week group meal, access to the land and a studio (if needed and allocated for my particular needs), electricity and wifi, housekeeping before and after my stay as well as assistance once a week.

• I understand that there is no guarantee as to the number of residency participants on site during my schedule and that there can be an ebb and flow of participants during my schedule.

• I understand that the organic element of this residency is also an aspect of interactions. I understand that my role needs to be proactive in the community in terms of seeking out interactions with others or inviting them to see/interact with my work if I need or desire this.

• I understand that my time is my own, my schedule is determined by me, and that any group activity - even the group weekly meal - is optional, is organic in its organization, and that sometimes I may be the leader of this activity at my own interest. I understand that there will likely be an option to gather socially on a weekly basis, if possible, such as movie night, stargazing, campfires, etc. often times in conjunction with group dinner night (typically Wednesdays).

• I understand that if I offer my expertise to other participants that there is no remuneration for my time. I am aware that there are add-on services such as washing dishes to help me stay focused on my work or consulting from design coach Val.

• I understand that I may not achieve my goals during my residency and that sometimes it is okay to shift gears, start over, or other facets of the creative process and that there is no supervision to ensure my personal project or progress. On the other hand, I understand that I may achieve my goals sooner than I hoped and it is up to me to structure the rest of my residency with new work, research, or other aspects of the creative process. It's also understood that sometimes rest and thinking time are most important parts of a residency so that I can be clear on my tasks.
