With the physical site, we will be able to offer a variety of workshops and camp experiences for youth.
Short term residential camps will have the following options:
1 – College graphic design students interested in summer classes without the pressure of grades to expand one's repertoire and portfolio. In the process receive coaching and mentorship career development. It's like a study abroad, but in a rural camp setting.
2 – High School students interested in graphic design as a career or college major seeking class opportunities to learn more about the field, and develop projects for college application portfolio
3 – Middle and High School students seeking an opportunity to discover creativity, learn about graphic design in a safe environment where happy accidents are encouraged, learn for the sake of learning not for grades, and engage in active-learning opportunities outside of a traditional classroom.
4 – Day camps and after school sessions will offer a variety of activities for youth to discover their creativity by connecting with nature in the garden and learning and engaging in a variety of crafts and basic graphic design projects.
Camp counselor positions will be available for graduate and undergraduate students interested in graphic design education.
