LEMON LODGE

Camp Wonder Wander is a creativity retreat center on a total of 17 acres bordering the Buffalo River in Lewis County Tennessee (named after explorer Meriwether-Lewis who died mysteriously nearby).

 

The main accommodation is our Lemon Lodge -

1400 sq ft for group activities that sleeps up to 14.

The lemon lodge features:

  • two porches: the front overlooks green space close to bbq grill, picnic table, and fire pit. the back is shady and overlooks the donkey dry corral where they sleep at night

  • creative decor bringing nature inside and interjections of items brought back from a trip to Japan

  • large dining area, 2 large and tall tables with bench seating are functional and mobile

  • numerous seating areas

  • comfortable kitchen featuring stainless steel counters and a new (2020) gas stove stocked with cooking essentials - pots, pans, utensils, dishware, coffee pot, and a good size refrigerator

  • two full bathrooms

  • twinkle lights out front

  • supplies including eco-friendly soap, dish detergent, and even toilet paper as well as an intensive covid standard cleaning prior to arrival with fair wage housekeeping.

 

Sleeping arrangements:

  • Private rm1 - Triple (King and twin) with private bath

  • Private rm2 - Double (Full)

  • Loft- 7 twin beds

  • Pine Room - large living room style space with wood-stove and a twin bed with trundle

RASPBERRY RESIDENCY HOUSE

The Raspberry Residency House may be available for your retreat if it's not occupied by an artist, designer, or writer in residence.

The Raspberry Residency House features:

  • Open space living and eat-in kitchen with sliding glass doors overlooking a large deck that has a grand view of the field where donkeys roam and even the bamboo grove.

  • Living room is creatively decorated and has a large comfortable couch, several chairs and a love seat.

  • Kitchen features new appliances and the necessities such as pots, pans, utensils, dishware, coffee pot.

  • two decks front and back

  • solar decorative exterior lighting on the porches.

  • mural painted in hall bathroom by artist Caleigh Bird during her residency

  • art contributed by residency participant Jeremy Blair in the master suite

  • gorgeous view of the evening sky and sunsets

  • keyless entry

  • laundry room and supplies including eco-friendly dish/laundry detergent and even toilet paper. cleaning with covid safety measures and fair wage housekeeping.
